SPOT Gen3 Features on Channel 4

SPOT Lone Worker Satellite DeviceMonday night’s episode of Channel 4 programme ‘Gadget Man’ featured the sought after SPOT Gen3 device. ‘Gadget Man’ displays the world’s collection of handy gadgets throughout the ages; from today’s smart devices to decade old electronics and mechanical devices.

The episode saw presenter, Richard Ayoade perform tests on the current security devices in play in the UK. This included the SPOT Gen3. Featuring satellite tracking, the SPOT enables lone workers to raise an alarm in an emergency, even in areas with no network signal.

The device was introduced to the set-up emergency environment as a means of survival in worst case scenarios.  With one button alarm activation and GPS tracking and locating, the SPOT Gen3 was the obvious choice for areas with no mobile phone reception.
