Guardian24 are pleased to announce that our MicroGuard lone worker personal alarm has been nominated for the Tomorrow’s Health & Safety Awards 2017.

The UK and Ireland’s number one lone worker protection provider joins 49 other finalists. The nominations are made up of products and services which have featured in the respected publication over the last 12 months and/or have been nominated by readers. The awards are designed to recognise key players in the battle against work-related injuries and illness and reward the dedication of the industry’s finest.

Guardian24 are part of the Send For Help Group – the world’s largest lone worker protection provider and already have a proud history of developing award-winning lone worker personal alarms, such as the MicroGuard. These small, lightweight devices come fitted with one button alarm activation, two-way audio communications, GPS tracking and ‘mandown’ fall sensor options as well as a whole range of other features. The devices have been designed with one purpose – to allow lone workers to get help when needed, fast.

The MicroGuard is fully certified and audited to BS 8484 (the code of practice for the provision of lone worker devices) and accredited to the coveted ‘Secured by Design’ accolade, which guarantees national police approval of their use.

Will Murray, Marketing Director said of the nomination “We’re delighted to have been selected for this year’s award.”

“Guardian24’s personal safety service is already highly decorated having won the Security and Fire Excellence Awards twice in the last few years. This just adds to the recognition of what we’re trying to achieve – to safeguard the health and wellbeing of lone workers should they find themselves in difficulty.”
